After breakfast, meet our professional guide at your hotel for a short briefing, then drive to the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Next, visit the Parliament Building, home to the Campaign Against Genocide Museum, which tells how the genocide was stopped and how Rwanda rebuilt. The building still carries the marks of gunfire from that time. After lunch downtown, visit a local Kigali market to shop for souvenirs, before your transfer to Kigali International Airport for your evening flight.
